Making Connections and Forging Ahead

January 20, 2012 at 1:22 pm (Uncategorized)

I was back on the air for another impromptu show. I covered a variety of material concerning our view of the past, present, and future. How do we use knowledge from our history to assess our current situation and plan a pathway into a better world? We are the ones who forge the unshapen potential of ideas, thoughts, and desires into the world we experience. This alchemical act should be done responsibly.

I was also lucky enough to get a last minute guest to join me for a majority of the show – Joanne from The Loosh. Joanne and I focused some of our discussion around race relations in America, the melting pot of the world, and how our perceptions of “the other” are portrayed through media outlets. Like with the government’s push for diversity and tolerance, the media’s portrayal of minority groups is almost always done with the appearance of best intentions, but it this seems to be a cover for self-righteous celebration, subtle culture creation, mind manipulation, and further exploitation. Our conversation moved into a number of other areas (art, gardening, teaching) while we considered some practical solutions.

You also might want to check out this video just released by Phallus Bold Tug. He really sets the record straight on this celebrity look-alike conspiracy.
