The Importance of Artistry in a Depraved Society

August 24, 2012 at 8:48 am (Uncategorized)

Popular artwork does not just reflect a society’s values and beliefs, but it also serves to shape and create them. Creative endeavors should be aligned with the highest ideals of mankind, but this is obviously not what is happening today. If we are able to raise up aesthetic appreciation of the common man, then we will have a much easier time creating a beautiful world.

I know this post is a bit out of order, but a fellow Oracle host and I explored this topic earlier this month. Check out Exposing the Corrupted World of Art with Mike Sledge for a crucial conversation.

Alex Robinson, the lovely lady from Too Long in This Place, joined me for a discussion on Star Theory Radio. We talked about the vilification of darkness, the suppression of feminine energies, the nature of words, the harnessing of chi, the importance of playing, and much more. Have a listen to the show and let me know what you think – Turning The Tide with The Energies of Life. Be well!

Warming Up for a Golden Age

August 1, 2012 at 12:47 am (Uncategorized)

The affairs of the world will likely be heating up as we move through the month of August. Though this might make some people sweat, an increase in degrees is necessary for a real alchemical change.

au·gust [aw-guhst]
adjective

1. inspiring reverence or admiration; of supreme dignity or grandeur; majestic: an august performance of a religious drama.
2. venerable; eminent: an august personage. (1)

I know I have not been writing all that much recently, but I am still working away. Check out Seeing Signs in the Global Games with Tracy Twyman for my most recent show on Star Theory Radio. The discussion involves the general symbolism of the Olympic Games, global financial turmoil, secretive societies, the importance of bloodlines, archetypal figures, the return of the king, influence from the gods, and more.

As this old system is falling apart I see the shoots of new life emerging. They need light, water, nutrients, and time. Then perhaps a new Golden Age, even better than the last, may flower in our future.

Also have a listen to the interview I did with Alan Abbadessa-Green – Coming to Terms with The Gods of Synchronicity.
